Tetra Pak, a world leading food processing and packaging solutions company released the 2020 Sustainability Report, celebrating the many ways the company has worked to protect food, people and the planet in the past year. An annual tradition since 1999, this year’s report is especially poignant in the midst of a global pandemic, while the world’s focus on planet and the environment is being challenged.

BOBST has launched oneINSPECTION, an integrated and evolving set of quality control solutions to proactively meet the needs of brand owners and converters, making zero-fault packaging a reality in the labels, flexible packaging, folding carton and corrugated board industries. The new quality control will also provide significant value to packers, retailers and consumers as part of the packaging value chain.

HERMA: Another award for the joint sustainability project

• The PE label made entirely from post-consumer recycled material (PCR) and with innovative wash-off adhesive wins the Austrian “Green Packaging Star”.
• Following on from the German Packaging Award, this is another award for the joint project involving Polifilm Extrusion, schaefer-etiketten and HERMA Self-adhesive Materials.
• “The project shows how recycling processes can be optimised at relatively low cost, especially with plastic packaging.”
