Sidel Group has acquired an Italian packaging design company PET Engineering srl, in order to expand its packaging portfolio. This acquisition is expected to strengthen the packaging portfolio of Sidel, particularly in the design of containers for soft drinks, beer, water and liquid dairy products.
Kellogg Company has unveiled a Pringles UK Recycling Program, in collaboration with its crisp brand and recycling firm TerraCycle. Under this new program, consumers will be able to recycle the Pringle cans in the UK.
PepsiCo has set a new packaging goal to use 25% recycled content in its plastic packaging by 2025, as part of its sustainable plastics vision. The new goal includes an aim particular to PET (polyethylene terephthalate) beverage bottles to use 33% recycled content by 2025.

Automated Packaging Systems, an US based packaging machinery and bagging materials manufacturer, has developed a new cushioning wrap dubbed as AirPouch® FastWrap™. The new cushioning wrap is 24 inches wide and 1.25-inch high loft.
