Yash Pakka to Build World’s Largest Compostable Flexible Packaging Facility with 400 TPD Capacity in Guatemala

Compostable packaging industry pioneer Yash Pakka Limited (YPL) has kickstarted the development of its first overseas plant in the Central American country Guatemala. The company has signed a MoU with the country’s major sugar companies to procure bagasse, which is the primary raw material used by the company for its products. Expected to be operational by mid-2025 with a production capacity of 400 tonnes per day, the new plant will produce flexible packaging and moulded fibre products as its primary offerings.
