Sriman is the Head of Packaging Development & CDE at Takeda Pharmaceuticals Company Ltd, based out of Boston, USA and has over 22 years of extensive global experience in primary, secondary packaging and device development. He has a distinguished career with 35+ awards for excellence in packaging on Innovation and Sustainability including 7 coveted WorldStar trophy. He was featured by Hindustan Times newspaper as emerging talent in packaging in 2009 and awarded the lifetime achievement award by Express Pharma in 2018. His previous work experience includes GlaxoSmithKline, Reliance Ind. Ltd, Marico and J&J. Sriman’s education span includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Post Graduation in Plastics, Masters in Packaging & MBA with specialization in Finance and is amongst handful worldwide to have achieved Lifetime Certified Packaging Professional from IOPP, USA. Professionally, he is associated with Indian Plastic Institute as Editor IPI Journal and in the past was associated with IIP, PlastIndia, BIS and other organizations along with presenting papers at International conferences and several publications to his credit. He is an avid traveler and has visited more than 30 countries and lived in 3 countries experiencing different cultures and lifestyles.
