Gerhard Schubert GmbH will showcase a lightline Flowpacker equipped with its new heat sealing technology at ProSweets 2019 in Cologne, Germany. The technology allows a gentle packaging of heat-sensitive products such as chocolate while maintaining the highest level of performance.
ProSweets Cologne, the international supplier fair for the confectionery industry, will take place from 26-29 January 2019.
Schubert is providing its customers three attractively priced, preconfigured machines in its new lightline machine series to take on standard packaging tasks. The Flowpacker is also a part of this new series.

Schubert is providing a preconfigured packaging machine i.e the lightline Flowpacker, which incorporates the Flowmodul flow-wrapping component and a picker line that packages trayed or unpacked products into flowpacks in an efficient and product-friendly manner.
The Flowmodul is compatible with all commonly used cold and hot sealing films and offers maximum flexibility in terms of product mix. Even extremely fragile crackers or biscuits can be stacked in any conceivable variant and packaged into flowpacks by using robotic technology.
Schubert has expanded its Flowmodul flow-wrapping component with the new patented heat sealing technology, which is characterized by a constant sealing time at variable chain speed as well as a very low heat development.
For the first time ever, the adjustment range of a heat-sealing film can be controlled between 5 and 60 metres – without any loss of quality for the product or the film. This technology is also suitable for hermetically sealed packages.
