Sanner to present packaging solutions at Pharmapack Europe

Sanner-Pharmapack

Based in Germany, Sanner offers user-friendly desiccant and teststrip packaging for pharmaceutical and healthcare products.

The company will present its technical competencies and broad range of intelligent and high quality active primary packaging solutions as well as medtech products at Pharmapack Europe in 2019.

The desiccant specialist will showcase its drop-in solutions for moisture-sensitive pharmaceuticals at booth B76 at the exhibition. The desiccant capsules AdCap feature the advantages of conventional desiccant canisters and capsules. These capsules ensure that odors or moisture are optimally adsorbed right after filling. As per the demand, they come with molecular sieves, silica gel, activated carbon or combinations. Made of Tyvek, the AdPack desiccant sachets provide an ideal combination of durability, moisture protection and breathability. Dirk Mähr, CEO of Sanner GmbH said, “Customers receive complete packaging solutions from a single source with optimally compatible components. Moreover, we offer solutions such as in-mold labeling or the user-friendly FOG 27 closure for a differentiated appearance at point of sale.”
Pharmapack is also the beginning of a number of celebrations for the 125th company anniversary. “We look back on a long company history with pride,” said Dirk Mähr. “But above all, we are looking into the future. Sanner is at the forefront with groundbreaking developments and innovative cooperations.”

This is underlined by medical solutions such as transfer devices or syringe components from the Engineered Packaging Solutions product segment. Sanner is focusing on developing further solutions that allow patients to take their medicine effectively and correctly.

Meanwhile, Sanner has developed the intelligent inhalation systems for true medication adherence in the treatment of respiratory diseases, in collaboration with the digital health startup Amiko.

As part of the Pharmapack Learning Lab, Corporate Development Manager Christian Schierholz will also exhibit digital solutions for proper treatment adherence on 7 February, 12.10 pm.
