EMC conducted a 2-day training program on Sustainable Packaging for Nivea. Three senior members of the packaging team of Nivea attended. Topics covered included trends in sustainable packaging post COVID-19, relevant packaging regulations and use of life cycle assessment (LCA) in packaging design.
A hands-on session was conducted to demonstrate Trayak’s software COMPASS and SCORE where Nivea explored the use to assess their own packaging formats. The training was led by Jay Mehta with contributions by Dr.Prasad Modak and Dr. R Rangaprasad of Packaging360.
EMC will be offering such small group expert training sessions every month to interested companies on use of LCA in sustainable packaging. Trayak, USA is EMC’s partner.
