Colep, a leading global player in the consumer goods packaging and contract manufacturing industries, has launched its first Sustainability Report highlighting its commitment to integrating sustainability into its business.
The Report describes Colep’s five pillars of sustainability; Energy, Waste, Water, Products and People and how these are delivered through Colep’s dedication to improving the sustainability performance of its global operations and products.
The Report covers Colep’s endeavours to provide innovative products and packaging which offer a sustainable advantage and maximum value for customers and consumers. It also marks the important progress made in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Ethics & Integrity framework, embedded in all levels of the business and defining the ethical standards of conduct that Colep expects from all of its stakeholders.
Grant A. Coupland, Colep Sustainability Director commented: “With the launch of our Sustainability Report we demonstrate our commitment to supporting our customers to achieve their own sustainability goals, in line with the market’s increasing demand for sustainable packaging, products and solutions.”
Aiming to increase transparency in the value chain, the environmental, social, health and safety performance of Colep’s operations is disclosed for the reporting period of 2017, and its progress against its 2020 environmental targets is highlighted.
