Improved consumer convenience is the main benefit of a new 235ml triangular shaped aluminium can for Spain’s leading cured ham brand, Coren. The main features include the shape of the can, with a so-called ‘shoulder’ (wider at the top of the can) and the inclusion of a special easy release lacquer that makes the content much simpler and quicker to serve in one piece. In addition, the lightweight aluminium can with an Easy Open lid offers added convenience, as less force is required to open the lid.
The new single serve can, which is manufactured at Ardagh Group’s production plant in Schweighouse, France is also shaped at a slightly conical angle to facilitate easy stacking. The striking red decoration offers excellent shelf appeal and is applied at Ardagh’s specialist printing facility in Cuxhaven, Germany.
