Aisa continues its developments of tube packaging made of paper. The collaboration with Billerudkorsnäs opens up outstanding new possibilities. The first Decoseam™ paper laminate tube was launched in 2008 already, but commercial success only came last year driven by the desire for more sustainable packaging and the search for solutions capable to replace plastic. Once proven on the market, the demand is now for solutions to increase the paper content in the tube package.
Sulapac has launched a groundbreaking innovation. Now, water-based products can be packaged with a new bio-based Sulapac barrier that biodegrades without leaving permanent microplastics behind. Sulapac has created jars for water-based cosmetics that biodegrade without leaving permanent microplastics. This has never been done before.
Albéa is proud that its pioneering mono-material HDPE tube with cap has just been approved by RecyClass (Plastics Recyclers Europe). RecyClass is a cross-industry initiative that works to advance plastic packaging recyclability in Europe through Design for Recycling guidelines. This approval proves that our tube+cap is compatible with established, at-scale HDPE bottles recycling stream.
Toppan Printing (Toppan), a global leader in communication, security, packaging, décor materials, and electronics solutions, has launched a cloud-based ID authentication platform in China that uses unique IDs to link real-world products to the digital world. By fusing its ID device technology with NFC-enabled ID authentication system infrastructure from Selinko SA (Selinko), Toppan has established a cloud-based ID authentication platform in China that creates customer touchpoints and facilitates supply chain management through safe and secure authentication of unique IDs assigned to individual products.
